Steve and amazing crew of the 1908 schooner Annette dedicate their life to clearing marine plastics from our foreshores - including abandoned GRP boats. In this short film Steve talks about the problem of end of life boats and how we might solve it, whilst salvaging the Hurley Burley from a Helford creek. The Hurley Burley is a Hurley 20 which had been abandoned for 20 years. She had been used as a rubbish bin and was full of silt. From March 2025 you can see her re-incarnated into an exhibit in foyer of the National Maritime Museum Falmouth.
